yups it's definitely nice to see some action here finally! Been so busy I haven't checked this blog nor blog here for quite a while, sigh it's getting so SO very tough *sobs* In our week 13, I've got a 1800 word essay due 12 Nov, an exam 14 Nov, a major design submission on 16 Nov, followed by reading week (for people to prepare for exams) during which we have presentation for our design, then exam week starting 26 Nov on which I have a paper, and my second and last paper on 1 Dec. "Second and last" sounds shiok ya? but hey look at those I have BEFORE the "proper" exam weeks!

Me... My exams start next week and end the week after, and I'll be coming back on the 27th. =) Some things just don't change, ie mugging for exams is a PITA. But that's life for us. Beats working in the future I guess...

i havent gotten into the mood of hardcore studying....

i cant even do simple physics.... and maths is killing me.... even the fundamentals are killing me.... i'm struggling with tutorials.... and i cant stay awake for lectures....

oh yes, i should let you guys know that today i finally went down to the apple store @Wheelock to get my Ipod Video! initially i wanted to save it for the Ipod Touch (the latest Ipod modelled after Iphone), but then i was comparing storage space and figured this one's better. besides, if you check out apple website, their new lauch of Ipods are actually quite ugly. their nanos, although now have video function in-built, are a far cry from their prev generation in terms of design. they're not squarish nor rectangular, they're somewhere in the middle n i think it isnt very pretty. neither is their Ipod classic (6th Gen Ipod) - only avail in silver and black - boring! the colour silver is sooooo over!

come next year jan - june, i will not be in singapore. last friday, my overseas exchange application results came out and i've been accepted placement at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy :)

as such, i do hope all of us are still dilligently saving up to have our most fabulous Ritz party this Christmas! make it a combined bday celebration as well as a mini farewell party for me will you?
last time when i left for europe for 7 wks, i already missed you guys back home so much.. i simply can't imagine how i'll survive without seeing my dear wallies for half a yr! :(

Mid-sem break is drawing nearer and nearer... hang in there!!

Ok I've been really busy with sch and stuff... dun even have time to update my own blog.. Haha. All I can say now is that I feel like I dun have a life on weekdays and I very very much look forward to the weekends. Especially now when chorale is coming to an end very very soon! Yay to free weekends! =D

Well actually now that it's coming to an end, I feel kinda sad. Tonite's the first practice that I actually felt good about, for this entire year. Amazing isn't it. LOL. I know JW confirm very annoyed by tonite's prac, but yea... I guess I'll still miss chorale after this. Owells... joining or not joining again will probably depend on who's rejoining again ba. Gotta take a break for now, cause sch just started and still in the midst of adjusting to uni life.

Oh anyways there's this girl in pharmacy, she's Stephanie from the 05 batch of VJChoir and from TKGS also.. Mabel you'll probably know her. Yup, her friends all in chorale.. so if she decides to join chorale then I might consider joining again. Heh.

Ok I gtg off now... practice just ended at 10pm... when we got chased out by the CC auntie. And I still gotta write 10 lines about my hobby in Japanese... Bleah.

to the NUS pple, Happy start of school next week! are you excited? i feel all so excited for you all... hahhaa. the start of the semester always brings about much hope and anticipation - at least for me!

jianwei: my cake is from savoury fare. i sampled quite afew cheesecakes (took the chance!) and thought this was the best. it's not the sweetest, yet it has real good layers of choc fudge, sponge cake , choc mousse , cheesecake and cookie base... i love every part of it too! maybe during Ritz celebration we could order that in for ourselves :) hehe. about Gobi, i might or might not be working there anymore. i was looking at my school timetable and i realise this semester im gonna be taking very heavy mods, so im reconsidering... but anyway, if u're still working in central, my school is how near! we could always still meet for supper :) i'm just a call away!

jelly: how's the life in perth? hahah lucky girl. i would give up anything for a romantic trip for two in some foreign land right now! i need a getaway!

Heyz all.. as promised, I tried to upload the pix to yousendit.com, like now.. but arh, they only allow sending of maximum 100MB. And the photos are like 204MB!!! So anyway, I separated the photos into 3 different RAR files.. den yay each is definitely smaller than 100MB yeah?
BUT!!! When I tried uploading the 1st file, (which is the smallest of the 3! The 2nd file is double the size!) the estimated time to upload is 45 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which means to upload the whole thing I must camp in front of the comp for at least 2 hours plus to 3 hours.. So I've decided to give up coz I'm dead tired after a long day.. Can anyone teach me a faster method to send photos? I already tried my best ler.. so sorriez!!

Haha... Boy in DownUnder is finally busy... =P "Evil" friends started me on a game (Command And Conquer 3), and wellz, the final installment of Harry Potter was out Saturday so I've been reading it. It's GOOD btw. =D

Anywayz, school is kinda half-started first week... U should know the usual intros to the new subjects, ie dead boring. =P School's starting so I'm "trying" to get in the swing of things... But I do stress "trying", which means it's a failure so far. Looking at the amount of workload I'll have this sem things don't look too good. Oh wellz.

Finally, bought the few final items I need for ski trip this weekend... Goodness it's really adding up to quite a bit! Hope it'll be worth it! =)

It's my first post here.. hehe sorry arh.. I know u all are gonna kill me for not uploading the sentosa pix yet.. paiseh paiseh.. I've been busy with my birthday party preps, plus working as well.. so kept procrastinating. My "To-do-list" is super duper long now!! ggrrr... And there're soooooooooo many posts here already! it's scary.. haha..

As for what I want for my birthday.. Haha initially I wanted a surprise so anything will do, as in din wanna ask for anything coz I don't exactly have a wishlist.. but now I think most ppl will get me accessories like necklaces, bracelets etc and I've got so many liao!! Hmmm~~ so maybe like tt time I said de... the Jolin Tsai's "Di4 cai2" concert DVD and the Farenheit's new xie3 zhen1 ji2 .. but if it's too last minute then it's ok! coz I din say earlier.. oops.. haha so anything will be fine too.. dun have to spend too much on my gift kk.. thanx to all in advance first!

Huiwei's birthday lunch: I wanna go too leh! haha but where is it? Can it be somewhere in the east? Then can go from my chalet.. those staying over can all go together too.. (Coz i'll be there from 26-29 July!)

I already started the ball rolling by getting her one liao.. so u all can go to wheelock place's apple shop to buy her the gift card. I've asked already, u can accumulate the gift cards and use them all together to buy the Apple products.. Maybe u all can pool the money together den go and get her one gift card? I had to get it earlier coz I'm leaving for Perth on 30 July which is straight after my birthday chalet, so kinda rushed and can't wait for u all. Paiseh arh..

oh hey everyone!

my birthday celebration has been change to 3rd Aug (friday) instead - huiwei u better be able to make it this time! the reason being i was last min able to book a space at this really cool place for my party.. haha. on the 4th itself Temasek Holdings is having their company function at the place, so well, the big corporation gets it first of course! hahaha.

i really do hope everyone can make it coz u all mean soo sooo much to me! would love to have you there. in fact, i wont even be asking any vjclassmates there. i'm trying to cap the guestlist coz honestly i don't have a big budget to spend this time since returning from europe.. haha. and that place is actually quite expensive (-of course you all deserve only the best!) ..hence i'm only asking people whom im close to personally. figured i should dump plans of huge massive party with lousy food for a smaller party size with good food and cosy settings.

the location is semi outdoorsy and has a beautiful seafront view (think: balcony-ish)- so it'll sorta be an evening under the stars, by the sea without getting sandy. hah.

after the build up, i'm sorry to be evil but i shall keep the location a secret first till i confirm the numbers, the menu and all. and of course, i gotta do up a nice e-poster for the event to upload it on this space!

something about what i'm doing now... i'm currently on an internship at Lenovo... for those who arent familiar with the company, Lenovo is the company who bought over the IBM PC Division.. so now, technically if you're using an IBM laptop, it belongs to Lenovo even though it is pasted with the IBM sticker. The whole ThinkPad series of computers belong to Lenovo.. haha. so yes, one of the benefits of working here is tt they provide u with the company's own laptops - i think they have like stashes of laptops in their storeroom la! how shiok. also, i'm becoming slightly more techy from working in this IT company. eg i know what chip goes into which model and all.. haha urgh... you dun wanna know wad a geek i am becoming! i think one day i should wear those plastic black rimmed glasses to look more high-tech to fit in here! haha. just kiddin. the people here arent as geekish looking as u might think. we have our scatters of officecandies. haha.
